So what do you do when your film is complete, and you have taken a week to breathe and re-center? You bend your knees and put your back into the next stages of the work. Promoting it. Which means you need to create a meaningful plan that will follow your hopes for the film, and pursue it to the fullest. SO what does that mean for Just One Step?
Well, that is a great question. The short answer is that we are working on it. The long answer….. well, that’s a different story. For right now it consists of trying to get a decent screener output and applying to the top tier of documentary film festivals. From there, it becomes a little more murky. The next move sort of depends on what happens with these festival submissions which we should know some of relatively soon. If you all wanted to send good vibes out into the universe for the film, we sure would appreciate it!
It also means that we are now starting to create the Kickstarter rewards and they’ll get sent out soon. I can’t tell you how appreciative we are for all the folks that supported this film, and were incredibly patient when we blew past our anticipated completion date without looking back.
So here we go. This is a great film and we are hoping for the best possible response. We’ll report back.
